Incorporating his mastery of the game, knowledge of development, and love of the land, Dye along with wife Alice at his side have created five golf courses at Casa de Campo, three resort courses and two private courses. One of these courses - the indomitable Teeth of the Dog - was the seed for what is now the Caribbean´s Most Complete Resort...Casa de Campo!

BiographyPete Dye is considered in many circles to be the most influential golf course architect of the last 60 years. And Casa de Campo is delighted to have three of his courses on the grounds. Each is distinct from the rest yet each bears the signature Dye style and challenge. Dye´s hands-on approach and organic style are superbly influenced by the traditions of the game. In fact, it was in 1963, that Dye´s style congealed on a visit to Scotland. It was there that he discovered railroad ties, tiny pot bunkers and many other course elements that he has successfully incorporated over the years. |
