Identified as the number one golf instructor in the world, David Leadbetter has coached many of the world's great touring professionals. Tim Vickers, a Sr. Certified Instructor from the David Leadbetter Golf Academy is now on staff at Casa de Campo to provide guests with the highest level of instruction and club fitting program. Casa de Campo Recognized as World's Leading Golf Resort

Described as the 'Oscars' of global travel and the tourism industry by the Wall Street Journal, the World Travel Awards reveal the 'best of the best' in the world. During a glittering gala in London, Nov. 8th, the 16th Annual World Travel Awards took place and Casa de Campo received The World's Leading Golf Resort award.

"It is a great honor that the hard work of all our employees in providing excellent service is recognized. I am also certain that our clients are delighted that their favorite resort has been recognized as the World's Leading Golf Resort," said Dr. Claudio Silvestri, President & CEO of Premier Resorts & Hotels, the managment company for the resort. Earlier this year, he was inducted to the Golf Hall of Fame and no doubt this new award constitutes another major recognition of his incredible talent."
More New Rooms Underway! Since inception Casa de Campo has constantly improved its facilities and along the way created many extra-ordinary features that have resulted in Casa de Campo receiving decades of repeat guests and many accolades including the World’s Leading Golf Resort in 2009. For our guest’s pleasure, we are creating new hotel rooms – located behind the main area of the hotel. Please be advised we have taken extra efforts to ensure that our improvements have minimal impact on our guests. Our private Minitas Beach, Altos de Chavon, Casa de Campo Marina and our great sports facilities will not be affected. These renovations are scheduled for completion early December 2010.
