Casa de Campo Resort and Villas continues to evolve, offering something new and exciting each year for loyal patrons, like Luxury Card’s Jennifer Ashton Ryan. We are thrilled to re-introduce our latest addition – The Spa Casa de Campo – and Ryan recently wrote a wonderful recap of our golf and spa resort’s amenity milestones, including the founding, and reopening, of The Spa.
As reported in Luxury Card, our journey began in the 1960s with the establishment of a sugar mill. The vision of mill executive Alvaro Carta led to the creation of the iconic Teeth of the Dog golf course, designed by Pete Dye. Over the years, Casa has grown into a sprawling 7,000-acre property complete with residential communities, additional golf courses, a private airport, tennis and polo facilities, a Grecian-style amphitheater, and a resort with 305 rooms.
In 2008, Casa de Campo Resort & Villas introduced our first spa. Now, 15 years later, we are proud to unveil our all-new $25 million, 18,000-square-foot spa and wellness center. The state-of-the-art facilities and results-driven treatments are designed to rejuvenate your body and mind.
Ryan noted the MLX i3Dome, a revolutionary wellness technology that uses far-infrared rays to increase body temperature, as one of the standout features. This treatment aids in cellular waste removal, boosting metabolism, reducing inflammation, and alleviating pain. While your body reaps these benefits, your face receives a no-touch plasma treatment for stress relief, followed by light therapy for skin rejuvenation.
Our luxury spa menu offers a range of services, from soft tissue mobilization to kinesthetic re-education, to help you improve your performance, whether you’re playing on our Dye Fore or Teeth of the Dog golf courses.
