Improve your game with our Ball Machines
Our ball-throwing machines at the Racquet Center are a great way to practice your game. You can use them for an array of drills, including groundstrokes, volleys, and serves.
Junior Tennis Academy
Designed to train children and young adults to play their best match.
Young players, ages 5 and up, will take part in programs of varied skill levels, encouraging them to reach and master each stage of learning efficiently and always to their skill set. The goal is to develop a deep understanding and passion for the game.
Rates per month, per child: USD$90*
Schedule: Monday-Wednesday, Tuesday-Thursday, or Wednesday-Friday
Hours: 4– 5 p.m. or 5– 6 p.m.

Create Your Own Tournament at Casa de Campo
You can create your own tournament at the Casa de Campo Tennis Club. We require a minimum of eight players. Contact us to confirm date and availability.
Rules
General Information, Rules and Procedures
- Pets and bicycles must be left outside the premises at all times.
- Proper tennis attire is required (no jeans, no bathing suits, etc).
- Only non-marking tennis court-type shoes are permitted. All marking, carbon-based running shoes, and non-athletic type shoes are prohibited
- Racquet Center has a complete pro shop offering a full line of rackets and tennis accessories.
- A hopper of used tennis balls for practice is available for $10/hour (subject to availability).
- Guests can sign up for social mixers to play against evenly matched players for singles or doubles matches.
Cancellations, No-Shows and Tardiness
- We allow a 10-minute grace period for players running a little late. You may be required to relinquish your court if others are waiting.
- Players must conclude play after their allotted time, regardless of the status of the match, if other players are waiting.
- Players wishing to play after their designated time may return to the reservation desk and reserve extra time.
- Players who play longer than their designated times are on the honor system to return to the reservation desk to pay for the additional time once play has concluded.
- All court reservations must be cancelled a minimum of four hours before the scheduled start time. Reservations not cancelled, or not used within the four hour time period are subject to 50% of the cost of the court rental.
- Private lessons, regardless of the reason, must be cancelled a minimum of 24 hours before. Customers who cancel later will be responsible for 50% of the cost of the lesson.

National Tennis Rating Program
We encourage players of levels 3.0–5.5 to participate in our social mixer matches. In general, the scale is:

| 1.5 | You have limited experience and are working primarily on getting the ball in play. |
| 2.0 | You lack court experience and your strokes need developing but you are familiar with the basic positions for singles and doubles play. |
| 2.5 | You are learning to judge where the ball is going, although your court coverage is limited. You can sustain a short rally of slow pace with other players of the same ability. |
| 3.0 | You are fairly consistent when hitting medium-paced shots but are not comfortable with all strokes and lack execution when trying for directional control, depth, or power. Your most common doubles formation is one-up, one-back. |
| 3.5 | You are fairly consistent when hitting medium-paced shots, but are not comfortable with all strokes and lack execution when trying for directional control, depth, or power. Your most common doubles formation is one-up, one-back. |
| 4.0 | You have a dependable stroke, including directional control and depth on both forehand and backhand sides on moderate-paced shots. You can use lobs, overheads, approach shots, and volleys with some success and occasionally force errors when serving. Rallies may be lost due to impatience. Teamwork in doubles is evident. |
| 4.5 | You have developed your use of power and spin and can handle pace. You have sound footwork, can control depth of shots, and attempt to vary game play according to your opponents. You can hit first serves with power and accuracy and place the second serve. You tend to over hit on difficult shots. Aggressive net play is common in doubles. |
| 5.0 | You have good shot anticipation and frequently have an outstanding shot or attribute around which a game can be structured. You can regularly hit winners or force errors off of short balls and can put away volleys. You can successfully execute lobs, drop shots, half volleys, overhead smashes, and have good depth and spin on most second serves. |
| 5.5 | You have mastered power and/or consistency as a major weapon. You can vary strategies and styles of play in a competitive situation and hit dependable shots in a stressful situation. |
| 6.0 to 7.0 | You have had intensive training for national tournament competition at the junior and collegiate levels and have obtained a sectional and/or national ranking. |
| 7.0 | You are a world-class player. |
How can we help?
Courts may be reserved up to one month in advance, and must be made on the hour during peak times.
Reservations are required at least four hours in advance for night play.
All players must check in at the Pro Shop before entering the courts.
