Chef of The Year is in the Dominican Republic

Casa de Campo hosted the finals of the annual “ClubCorp Chef of the Year” competition in a culinary celebration on April 20th – 24th. The annual “Chef of the Year” competition has more than 200 ClubCorp golf clubs with over 1,000 nominations. Hassan Bakhdoud from TPC Piper Glen was named “Chef of the Year” at the reception. There were plenty of delicious lunches and dinners from the five semifinalists. In the final stage were Brian Doyle from Walnut Creek Country Club, Josh Sikon from Stonehenge Golf & Country Club, Folker Raynolds from Monarch Country Club, and Steve Savoy from Medina Golf & Country Club. This marks the first time the “Chef of the Year” competition was hosted outside the U.S.
