With a little planning and preparation, we know you'll have a great time at Casa de Campo!
Casa de Campo Resort & Villas ensures a full experience for all guests, offering everything they might need for a great Caribbean vacation. However, there are some essential items that you should bring to make the most of your stay. Here we mention some of them, so be sure to include them in your packing list.
Driver’s license: Every room and villa in Casa de Campo includes a 4-passenger golf cart to explore the resort grounds. The designated driver (or drivers) will be asked to present a valid license at check-in in order to use it. Please remember, that guests under 18 should not drive the golf carts.
Comfortable shoes: Inside Casa de Campo you will find the magnificent Altos de Chavón, a walkable replica of a Mediterranean villa with cobblestone streets, scenic views, and iconic landmarks such as its 5,000-seat amphitheater. To enjoy it fully, we recommend skipping the high heels and brand-new shoes in favor of comfortable sneakers, loafers, or sandals. Additionally, bring a pair of flip-flops to walk around the pool and beach areas.
Workout clothes: Yes, we know you’re on vacation and exercising will not be the first thing on your to-do list. But when you see our pedestrian paths that run through golf courses, tranquil neighborhoods, and tree-shaded areas, you might want to walk or jog around even if just for a few minutes. We also have a fully-equipped Fitness Center so keep your routine going, and occasional yoga lessons at Minitas Beach to meditate in front of a beautiful sunrise.
Medicine: Even though you can find pharmacies at the Marina, Altos de Chavón, and the resort main area, as well as first aid and medical attention in case of an emergency, it’s best to bring your prescription medication, over-the-counter favorites, and any other medical supplies you might need.
