Culinary Creativity Abounded at the Casa de Campo Food and Wine Festival 2023
The Dominican Republic is expanding its culinary proposals and the latest landmark event was the first ‘Casa de Campo Food and Wine’ festival, which took place from October 17 to 22, 2023, at Casa de Campo Resort & Villas. The festival, created in partnership with Invited, featured a unique culinary experience, where local and international cuisine merged.
The event displayed the creativity and culinary experience of local chefs of international renown, including Erik Malmsten, Joaquín Renovales, and Adin Langille, who represented the Dominican Republic. Celebrity chefs Hubert Keller and Akira Back also participated, paired with Invited’s most talented chefs and mixologists. Guest chefs competed for the company’s coveted title of Chef of the Year, a distinguished honor that Casa de Campo has helped showcase since 2021.
Attendees had the opportunity to enjoy food and wine pairings from some of the most notable names in gastronomy, while taking in all that Casa de Campo has to offer. Notably, the resort’s new luxury accommodations at Premier Club and Suites and the state-of-the-art Spa and Wellness Center were open and available to guests.
