Our La Romana golf resort has been chosen to host the Latin American Championship Academy
During the 10th edition of the prestigious Latin American Amateur Championship, held this past January at Buenos Aires, Argentina, the LAAC Founding Partners announced that the inaugural Latin American Championship Academy will be established at Casa de Campo Resort & Villas.

This week-long training program at our Dominican Republic golf resort is designed to educate emerging Latin American golfers in essential aspects of elite competition, covering physical and mental conditioning, technical skill development, and strategic insights. Participants will receive training in nutrition, sports psychology, short-game techniques, swing analysis, and more. All expenses will be fully covered, making the Academy accessible to a diverse range of participants.
Our resort was chosen for its deep connection to the LAAC. As the premier golf destination in the Caribbean, we have proudly hosted the championship on three occasions. Our Golf Learning Center combines state-of-the-art technology with expert instruction to help players elevate their game. Meanwhile, our scenic Caribbean golf courses will challenge and inspire participants to perform at their best.
We are honored to receive this special distinction from the Masters, the R&A, and the USGA. Golf is our passion, and we look forward to collaborating with the LAAC to develop the sport in the region.
